A balanced scorecard (BSC) is a performance metric used to identify, improve, and control a business’s various functions and resulting outcomes. Balance Scorecards have been proven an effective tool for strategy management.
BSC is based on the definition of strategical objectives, metrics and associated initiatives. It establishes the cause-effect relation through the strategic mapping in 4 basic perspectives: finance, customers, internal processes and innovation.
